Tony Allen

Quite serious for a Rosé. Well balanced and clean. Redcurrant and strawberry. For me this was the best food match in the flight. It counteracted the fat of the meat. It matched and lifted the salsa.

Ken Dobler

Showed a nice pale pink colour. There was a good nose of strawberries and cherries. There were ripe berry fruits on the palate with very good line and length. The palate showed exceptional length and was an excellent complement to the food. The ripe fruit and the firm acidity were an excellent complement to the slight fat and savoury character of the food. The food certainly lifted the quality of the wine significantly.

Adrian Atkinson

Cherry, copper colour. Bright, lifted nose. The palate was medium with great balance of flavour, structure and some good length. On the palate, it had some lively spice and balance with the food and some really interesting flavours.

Doug Frost

The colour wasn’t particularly attractive. Sweet cherry candy with some raspberry, strawberry, red cherry, redcurrant. Elevated residual sugar. Very friendly and easy but quite sugary. A little short despite all that residual sugar. Sort of a black pepper, almost balanced end. It was too soft for the dish. The sugar seemed out of place. Overall it was a pretty successful wine.

Paul White

Some lovely red fruit blossom aromas. A very light, fine palate with fine viscosity. Enough acid to support delicate fruits on the finish. In this case, it was probably too subtle and too delicate for this particular food match. It became harder and more astringent in the context of food. It probably would work with some other dishes.

Kym Milne

Light fragrant cherry strawberry characters with some sweetness. The nice acid keeps it fresh. Quite a crisp, light style but a long finish. It coped surprisingly well with the food. A very long finish on this wine and it looked good with the food.
