Judges' Comments
John Chua
A nose of cherries. This wine has integrated flavours of raspberry. Fruit and mint texture with a sweetish finish. It is a very good summer wine. The ripeness of the fruits in the wine matches this food very well. It’s a very good complement to the food.
Neil Hadley
Mid to pale pink in colour with a nose that is estery but fresh and clean. The palate shows racy acid against mid level sweetness, creating a raspberry sherbet effect. The wine looks quite spicy with the food.

Pale light red. Sweet, lifted confectionary and raspberry aromas. Quite sweet on the palate. Strawberries and cream flavour. Alcohol palate on the finish. Simple and sweet.
John Ellis
An unusual peppery overtone on the nose. A crisp finish but high sugar. The high sugar is too high to be a food match.
Steve Flamstead
Lots of carbon dioxide. Almost spritzig on the palate. Ripe and plummy. Hints of medicinal characters but on the palate, fairly clean and jube like. A little bit too sweet and the overall impression is sort of lolly water.
Ivan Donaldson
Lively, fruity with high acid but it has sweetness to balance. Rather light, lolly‑water but agreeable enough. With food, it seemed too sweet and too acid.
